*Manchester City have seemingly turned to voodoo in a bid to help them make history by winning the Premier League title this weekend.*

Citizens stars including Mario Balotelli and Samir Nasri met up with eight witch doctors on a night out in the city this week.

According to the Sun, the duo and several of their team-mates took part in a special session with the voodoo experts at a bar.

An insider revealed some of the details behind the unusual night out, stating: 'They seemed really into it all. The witch doctors spoke directly to the City boys and I think they were showing them how to cast spells.'

The players were then spotted 'joking about' amongst themselves with the doctors' cards, prompting the source to speculate they may be relying on the power of voodoo ahead of their vital clash with QPR tomorrow.

Despite remaining out on the town until about 4am, a party-goer at Manchester's Panacea bar said the star-studded gathering was well behaved and controlled.

If City take all three points against the struggling west London outfit at the Etihad Stadium they will lift their first Premier League trophy, unless rivals Manchester United win by eight more goals against Sunderland.
