*Thomas Vermaelen has no intention of becoming the next big name to leave Arsenal, as he loves working for Arsene Wenger.*
Star players being sold has become a depressingly familiar sight for Gunners fans in recent years, with Cesc Fabregas, Samir Nasri, Emmanuel Adebayor and Aleksandr Hleb among those to depart.

The supporters face another summer of worry while Robin van Persie decides on his future, but they can at least be certain defensive lynchpin Vermaelen will be at the Emirates Stadium next season.
'I have no intention of leaving this club. I feel at home in London and I feel that I have become a real Gunner,' the Belgium international told the Sunday Mirror.
'Arsenal is my club. In my eyes, they belong to the absolute elite of European top clubs.'
The former Ajax man explained that his relationship with Wenger meant he could not even consider moving on.
'I have never known a manager so loyal to his players. He shows immense trust and has shown incredible loyalty towards me,' the 26-year-old said.
'I was sidelined for a long time with two nasty injuries. But it was under the orders of the manager that the board gave me a new contract until 2015. I can't describe the joy that gave me.'
Vermaelen may soon find he is even more settled at Arsenal, as the club are believed to be close to signing his friend and international team-mate Jan Vertonghen in a £10million deal from Ajax.
