Manchester, UK (PRWEB UK) 2 August 2012
Manchester based company Editors Keys.com, has been nominated in this years prestigious Ecommerce Awards 2012, for the Best Social Media Engagement Award.
Editors Keys run by Mark Brown, is a small company with less than five employees. Editors Keys is up against global players Vodafone, ASOS.com, Jessops and Virgin Media.
The glitzy black tie awards event, will be held in London on the 2nd October 2012, where Editors Keys hopes to pick up its first major award.
“Its extremely exciting to be nominated for the national ecommerce award, especially since we’re such a small company. Getting recognised alongside household names and multi million pound companies really shows how hard we work at Editors Keys, and that you really can achieve your business goals, no matter the size of your company,” said Mark Brown, company director of Editors Keys.com
The company has been nominated for the ‘Best Social Media Engagement Award’, which was chosen by a judging panel which included the UK director of Google, Peter Fitzgerald, Joanna Stephenson, Senior Online Marketing Manager at Debenhams and Frazer Locke, Trading Director at Asda WalMart to name a few.
The nomination recognizes Editors Keys great achievements at socially engaging customers in online platforms such as YouTube, E-Mail marketing, Twitter and Facebook.
Social engagement is very important to me, it essentially means you’re communicating well with your customers and that’s something that every business should be doing. Spending a lot of time on Twitter and YouTube often doesn’t result in huge sales, but certainly allows you to connect with customers in a very personal style. Says Mark Brown.
