Neil Young is truly a living legend, not only in the folk music world, but in music in general. He has seen it all and done it all. From his times performing his solo act early on in his career in Canada all the way to his time in Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, he has carved out quite the legendary career path for himself. With these currently released Neil Young tickets , many will be able to catch the magic live! Add to that the fact that Young has not performed in over eight years, and this is a cannot miss opportunity!
Young, who began performing in 1960, started his career off slow and mellow before moving to California in 1966, where he formed the band Buffalo Springfield with his friends Stephen Stills and Richie Furay. The band played for years before Young broke off again to pursue his solo act full time. This is where he truly shined as one of the best singer/songwriters around.
What is so special about this tour is the fact that Young is finally reuniting with his long time band mates, Crazy Horse, for an amazing time tearing the house down wherever they go. Crazy Horse and Young first united in 1968 when Crazy Horse backed him on one of his albums. From there, they sky rocketed to fame and have been playing with each other off and on ever since. The interesting thing about this particular tour is that these two acts have not performed with each other since 2004, which is an extremely long time for anyone keeping track. This will be a highly intense show that will see many people get to see this act perform once again and some others get to witness the show for the first time. This will definitely be a show that no one should miss.
The tour will be for a limited time only, but will be traveling to both the United States of America as well as Canada. Dates currently announced for the tour include Chicago, Pittsburgh, Cleavland, San Fransisco and a few other dates in Ontario, including London, Windsor and Kingston. The tour, while limited in dates, is certainly a show that will be worth the trip for anyone willing to make the journey. Young has not performed in almost a decade, so it may be quite a while before he performs once again.
Opening up for Young on these current dates will be either the band Los Lobos or Alabama Shakes. Both acts really know how to put on a great show to get the crowd ready for Young, so it will prove to be a great show. Do not wait to grab these Neil Young tickets, however, because the man is one of the most well known people in music, and they will definitely sell out well before the concerts performance date.
