'There is a pretty good chance you think you have a big bottom, but most likely you are positively perfect for that modelling job.'

'In a very visual industry, first impressions make a big impact,' explains Stevie Lake, marketing manager for UKMA. 'If you don't look right in the first place then sometimes this first impression can make or break a potential model career.' He goes on to say, 'models can't all fit into the fashion and catwalk modelling genre it's true, but there are so many different variations on modelling, there's work for every type of body shape. A larger model should never think they can't make it in this industry, because they can.'
With their brand new section, the team at UK Model Agencies feel they have answered a lot of the questions they get asked by models, and hopefully covered the answers a model may not have yet considered.
'As females, our body types change through puberty, childbirth, weight loss or weight gain,' says Helen.' We are often left at a loss as to how to choose clothes which suit us and don't know how to complement the body shapes we have. This is why we felt this section was an important addition to the website as soon as possible.'
