Thanks to a push from her sister, a new model hits the catwalk with a taste for samba keeping her young say the model advice experts at http://www.lamodelondon.comext. Jo Vanier is but looks ten years younger. Her striking appearance has already got her signed up and thanks to her brand new modelling portfolio tailor made by La Mode, jobs are sure to keep dancing in. Has being a member of the London School of Samba team helped her look so young?

London UK 2nd June 2012 (PRWEB UK) 2 June 2012

Representing modelling Londonext, La Mode launch their newest model portfolio online and jettison another model career to the stars.

Helen Smith, director for La Mode London proudly shows off the newest model on their books. With a stunning array of photographs showing Jo in various outfits, Helen explains,
'If it wasn't for Jo's sister, this portfolio shoot would never have taken place.'

Jo Vanier is 5' 6 1/2, with long dark hair and big brown eyes. She has done a little commercial modelling before, such as for the BP sponsored ad for the 2012 Paralympic games, a Premier Inn launch campaign where she opened a new hotel in central London and a modelling feature for the Sun newspaper. When asked why she became a model she said,

'My sister suggested I give it a try and I thought why not. I was surprised how quickly I got signed up following a successful audition. It's a great industry to work in and I enjoyed being part of the Premier Inn campaign. I can't think of a better time to become a model. It's hard work but fun. '

Helen agrees.' Jo is in the prime of her life and she's just decided to give modelling her full attention. She is extremely fit and age should never hold any model back.' Jo is a member of the London School of Samba team and she moves her body perfectly in time to the music. She has also performed at the Nottinghill Carnival, Thames Festival and the Lord Mayor show so she is no stranger to people watching her dance so she should take modelling in her stride.

La Mode's very latest modelling portfolio and website to be launched offers valuable information about each model, including her vital statistics. The company explain how each model provides some commentary on why they became a model and how much previous experience they have had in the industry, if any. Also what their interests and inspirations are so a potential client glean some idea of their personality.

'I swim regularly and love visiting theatres, cooking and travel,' she says. 'I love mountain walking in North Wales when I get the chance.'

When asked who inspired her she says, 'I admire Carmen Dell'Orefice who celebrated 60 years as a model and her career was celebrated at her 80th birthday at the London School of Fashion in January 2012 and she's still going strong. I love Ernestine Shepherd, who is on the Guinness Book of World Records as the oldest competitive female body builder and finally I am inspired by Cindy Joseph, who started her modelling career at the age of 59. Let's just say I am addicted to 'wow' people!'
